First Annual CPP Encore Conference September 17-18, 2009, Statler Hotel. This conference provides an opportunity for CU faculty and graduate students to share work they have presented previously at conferences with their CU colleagues here on campus.  The event will include a poster session/cocktail hour on Thursday evening and three paper sessions on Friday afternoon. Paper sessions are on: Family/Gender, Family Process, Inequality and Social Stratification. A schedule for the conference can be found here.

Population Association of America 2010 Annual Meeting. The deadline for submitting papers and posters to the annual meeting of the Population Association of America is September 21, 2009.  The meetings will be held in Dallas on April 15-17, 2010.  Some travel support is available for graduate students.  To apply, please contact Carrie Chalmers.
